WinArchiver can help you unzip, create and manage archives. Compressing data is essential when you need to save storage space or transfer large volumes. The program can open virtually every archive extension. However, the list of formats it supports creating is not that long; in fact, it is limited to ZIP, 7Z, ISO and MZP only. Although WinArchiver has nothing extraordinary to offer in terms of file zipping and unzipping, it has the advantage of allowing to create up to 23 virtual drives. In this respect, it is also good that it lets you mount not only standard disc image files, such as ISO, but any other archive format. This is particularly convenient when you are dealing with large zipped files as it helps you save a lot of time because you do not need to decompress the whole archive. The tool can also perform various operations related to discs. For instance, it can burn image files to various types of discs. Not only that, it can also make ISO copies of CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs. Finally, it can convert other image formats to ISO. more
